2-6 Create a New Setup or Load an
Existing Setup
When you click the Assisted Setup button in the Start view, a dialog will appear asking you a series of
application-based questions. Based on your answers, WebLink generates your initial setup
automatically. Once the setup is created, you can fine-tune its parameters in the
Setup view.
Clicking Create a New Setup allows you to create a setup without using Assisted Setup . Create a
New Setup will perform a software reset and will recall default parameters except Communication
settings. The New Setup should not save to flash, so you should be able to cycle power to the reader
and see the settings that were last saved to flash.
Select Load a Setup to load an existing .wls WebLink setup file. The .wls file contains all current
reader settings.
