The following use cases demonstrate some ways Configuration Database can be used, although the
possible scenarios and combinations are virtually endless.
Example 1
– Using the Configuration Database to try multiple sets of decoding parameters to read all
target codes in an application.
Problem:
Some codes are overprinted, some are normal, and some are underprinted, as shown below.
The system must decode them with 100% accuracy and success.

Change enhancement parameters on all three entries to handle printing or marking variation.
For each entry, change image enhancement morphology to do nothing, to grow, or to shrink the
white cells prior to reading.
