4.10.3 Media control settings
Step 1:
Click the
media control
tab.
Step 2:
Verify that the media is properly loaded.
Refer to
Loading media on page 61
Step 3:
Click
Load media
.

The media load window opens.
Vacuum settings
Step 1:
In the media control window, you are able to make 2 settings concerning the
vacuum.

Use the
Mode
setting to set when the vacuum has to operate.
Be sure to read and understand the safety warnings before handling the printer.
Mode Description
Always
The vacuum will always operate, whether there is media loaded
or not.
Never
The vacuum will never operate, no matter whether there is media
loaded or not.
During print The vacuum will operate as soon as the printer starts printing.
When media loaded
The vacuum will operate, as soon as the media is loaded.


When media detected
The vacuum will operate as soon as the media detection sensor
detects the media.
