User’s Guide Zephyr TS

User preferences

Current heater status

This window displays the current status of each heater.

The temperature of each heater is set individually. Please refer to the table below to know the 
function and maximum reachable temperature of each heater.

Caution

When working with rigids, make sure that all heaters are OFF. Heating rigids 
will make them deform. This could lead to head strikes.

Note

The main goal of the heating system is to minimize media curls, due to the heat 
of the UV lamps.

When flexible media is loaded into the printer, the media is conditioned and 
equally warmed to avoid sudden temperature shocks. 

Note

The heater settings are only used when a print job has no heater settings of its 
own, or when manually activating the heaters.
