AP-75390 - Revision 1.0
In case the arrow heads are no where in the complete pattern pointing correctly
to each other as in the example above, look how the arrows are pointing.
If the left arrow is lying higher then the right arrow head. reprint the step
adjust pattern with a correction of +0.2%.
If the right arrow is lying higher then the left arrow head, reprint the step adjust
pattern with a correction of - 0.2%.
Step 8:
Once you have found the position where the arrow heads touch each other
correctly, check the colour density of the print pattern.
In case the density of each half circle is equal, use the value next to the pattern.
In case the density of each half circle is not equal, fine tune the step adjust
pattern. To do so, look for the turning point where the dark side switches side.
Reprint the step adjust pattern with a correction value for example 0.12%
+0.15 %
+0.15 %
+0.1 %
Note
Be aware that the value next to each pattern is a relative value. This means you
have to increase or decrease the current value with the value next to the
pattern.
For example, the current step is set to 0.15 and the step adjust pattern gives
you a perfect pattern at -0.05%. This means you have to set your step to 0.15 -
0.05 = 0.1.
