Manually media cutting

This subchapter explains how to manually cut media.

Step 1: 

Verify that there are no printing or other operations in progress.

Step 2: 

Feed the media forward so that the print job passes the B heater.

Step 3: 

Open the front cover.

Step 4: 

Place the Mutoh paper cutter to the frontside of the B heater and cut the roll media

When loading new roll media, make sure that the front edge of the media is cut 
straight.

Note

Be aware that cutting the media in combination with the return to print position 
feature is risky. This because the printer does not know where you have cut the 
media.
