User’s Guide Zephyr TS

Cleaning all heads

Step 1: 

Click the 

maintenance

 tab.

Step 2: 

Now there are several options:

Manual

. Use this setting to move the carriage up. This to verify the heads or 

wipe the nozzles.

Normal

. Performs a purge of 3 seconds. Choose this option if there are less 

than 10% missing nozzles per head.

Powerful

. Performs a purge of 10 seconds. Choose this option if there are more 

than 10% missing nozzles per head.

Step 3: 

Select 

Normal

 or 

Powerful

 and click “Start now”.

The carriage moves upwards and starts a purge of the heads.

A message window appears in the User Interface. Do not click the “OK” button 
before proceeding as described below.

Note

If you click the magnifying glass next to 

start now

, you will see a preview in the 

time line of what is going to happen.
