4.15.2 Ink 

refill

If you get the warning message that an ink bottle is almost empty, you need to refill it to keep 
printing. Please follow the procedure below to refill the ink bottles.

Tools necessary to complete procedure

UV ink of the colour that is almost empty

One funnel per colour

Procedure

Step 1: 

Gently shake the ink bottle horizontally 2 or 3 times without making air and ink 
bubbles.

Step 2: 

Open the ink supply cover at the left side of the printer.

Step 3: 

Pull out the Bulk Ink System.

 

Be sure to read and understand the safety warnings before handling the printer.

Caution

Before using the ink and cleaning bottles, be sure to read and understand the 
MSDS-sheets on the MSDS CD delivered with the printer.

This product is tuned for the use of Mutoh UV bulk ink and cleaning. If using 
other manufacturers' products, the output quality may be inferior, faint or ink 
ends may not be properly detected. If using non Mutoh products, The warranty 
will not cover (repairs will require a fee) any resulting breakdown.
