Cleaning a single head

Step 1: 

Verify in the nozzle check which head has missing nozzles.

Step 2: 

Open the left maintenance cover.

Step 3: 

Close the ink valves of the print head which are OK.

In the example above, the black ink valve remains open.

Step 4: 

Close the left maintenance cover.

Step 5: 

Click the 

maintenance

 tab.

Step 6: 

Now there are several options:

Manual

. Use this setting to move the carriage up. This to verify the heads or 

wipe the nozzles.

Normal

. Performs a purge of 3 seconds. Choose this option if there are less 

than 10% missing nozzles per head.

Powerful

. Performs a purge of 10 seconds. Choose this option if there are more 

than 10% missing nozzles per head.

Yellow

Black

Red

Blue
