Positioning
operation
508
Software stroke limit-
■
Description
• Positioning is carried out at a position beyond the
software stroke limit lower limit.
• The positioning address and new current value
exceed the software stroke limit lower limit.
• The sub point exceeds the software stroke limit
lower limit in the circular interpolation or helical
interpolation with sub point designation.
■
Operation status at error occurrence
At operation start: The system will not operate.
At current value changing analysis: The current
value is not changed.
During operation:
• When the positioning address exceeds the
software stroke limit range and the control is
switched to the one for the out-of-range data
during a position control (including the position
control in speed-position switching control and
position-speed switching control), the system will
stop immediately.
• When the current feed value or machine feed
value during speed control (including speed-
position and position-speed switching control) or
manual control exceeds the software stroke limit
range, the system will stop with the setting
(deceleration stop only) of the detailed parameter
2 Sudden stop selection (stop group 3).
■
Action
At operation start:
• Bring the current feed value into the software
stroke limit using the manual control operation.
(
• Correct the positioning address. (Also check
the arc address in the circular interpolation or
helical interpolation with sub point designation.)
Current value changing: Set the new current
value within the software stroke limit range. (
Page 447, Section 9.2.21)
During operation: Correct the positioning address.
(For the positioning and arc addresses, refer to

value range
■
Description
The new current address is outside the ranges of 0
to 359.99999, where the control unit is set to
"degree".
■
Operation status at error occurrence
The current value is not changed.
■
Action
