(2) Setting the positioning data during interpolation control
When carrying out interpolation control, the same positioning data Nos. are set for the "reference axis" and the
"interpolation axis". The following table shows the "positioning data" setting items for the reference axis and
interpolation axis.

This is an irrelevant item, so the set value will be ignored. If the value is the default value or within the setting range,
there is no problem.

For 2-axis interpolation, the partner axis is set. If the self-axis is set, the error "Illegal interpolation description command"
(error code: 521) will occur. For 3-axis interpolation other than 3-axis helical interpolation or 4-axis interpolation, this item
does not need to be set. For 3-axis helical interpolation, refer to the following for the reference axis and interpolation axis
combinations.
If axes are set in a combination other than the ones mentioned above, the error "Illegal interpolation description
command" (error code: 521) will occur.
