2. Error definition and error detection method



If a shorted (high temperature intake) or open (low temperature intake) thermistor (TH11 through TH16, TH32 through TH35,

TH31a through TH31p, TH31a through TH31p, TH32, or TH33) is detected during operation, the unit comes to an abnormal

stop, and an error code “5111” through “5116,” “5132” through “5135,” “5141” through “5156,” “5161” through “5176,” or “5177”

through “5178” appears on the display.



Detection of a short- or open-circuit as described above is suspended during the defrost cycle and for 3 minutes after the

operation mode is changed.
