For example, as shown in the above scenario, the service provider may offer such a configuration in which the VoIP
hosts are in the subnet of 192.168.50.0. So, a VoIP packet having Destination Address network = 192.168.50.xxx
should be routed using the Gateway Address = 192.168.10.1. Assume, the VLAN ID (tag) to be added is 10.
Likewise, a remote site connected using MPLS connection might have Destination Network as 192.168.51.xxx and
packets destined for this network should be routed using the Gateway Address = 192.168.11.1. Assume, the VLAN
ID (tag) to be added is 11.
If you configure the table for Sub Interfaces, then it will appear as follows:
Packets for Internet access are normally routed through the default Gateway Address of the Ethernet WAN
port.
