• To add a new Port Triggering rule, click Add . A new window opens.
• In Application Name , enter the name of the application for which you want to configure the Port Triggering
rule.
• Select the Enable check box to enable the Port Triggering rule.
Under Port Triggering configure the following parameters:
• In Triggering Port Type , enter the Triggering port on which the packet will be sent by the internal host.
The incoming packets received on the forwarded port, will in turn be sent to the IP Address of the internal
host that sent the packet.
• If you select Single , configure only one destination port on the internal host.
• If you select Range , configure a range of destination ports on the internal host in Start Port and End
Port .
Under Port Forwarding configure the following parameters:
• Select the Protocol used for packet transport which the system must match to forward the packets as
per the configured rule. You can select:
• If you want the system to forward packets irrespective of the protocol type, select Both .
• If you want the system to forward the packets depending on the protocol, select TCP or UDP .
• In Allow External IP Address , you can select Any or Single.
• If you want to allow packets received from any external IP Address (WAN) to be forwarded to the
configured internal IP Address and port as configured in the rule, select
Any .
