Card reader removal
Warning:
Do not interchange screws during reinstallation, as it may damage the machine. Always take note of
their original placement.
1.
Remove the power supply. See
“Power supply removal” on page 4-10
.
2.
Remove the duplex unit. See
“Duplex unit removal” on page 4-11
3.
Remove the rear cover. See
“Rear cover removal” on page 4-25
.
4.
Remove the left cover. See
“Left cover removal” on page 4-26
.
5.
Remove the right cover. See
“Right cover removal” on page 4-29
.
6.
Remove the control panel assembly. See
“Control panel assembly removal” on page 4-35
7.
Disconnect the USB connector (A) connecting the card reader to the system board.
8.
Remove the T3x8 pan head screw (B) securing the left side of the card reader.
9.
Remove the other T3x8 pan head screw (C) securing the ground connector to the card reader.
