4 Disable the ADF/scanner assembly. Do any of the
following:
• Boot the printer with the tank door and ADF
door opened, and the duplex unit removed. A
printer message will prompt the user to close
the tank door and ADF door. Close all the
doors, and install the duplex unit.
• Disconnect the J45, J47, J28, J22, and J30
cables to physically disable the ADF/scanner
assembly.
