LCD Touch Panel Test
This test runs the awTPtest application.
To perform this test:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to
LCD Touch Panel Test
.
2.
The following occur during the test:
•
The display changes colors.
•
Touching the display will stop the changing colors, and will show grids. Touching each square
changes its color to white.
•
Touching the icons beside the display deactivates them.
3.
Touch the location of
three times to cancel the test, and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
Show Strings
This option allows cycling through all available control panel strings in all languages.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to
Show Strings
.
2.
Touch
Previous
or
Next
to cycle through the strings.
3.
Touch
to return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
Align Printer
This option allows the user to align the printer.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to
Align Printer
.
2.
Please verify that plain letter-size paper is loaded
appears. Select
Continue
or
Not
Now.
If
Continue
is selected,
Preparing the All-in-One Printer. Please Do Not Interrupt
appears,
and an alignment page prints. Touch
to cancel the alignment, and to return to the Manufacturing Test
menu.
If
Not Now
is selected,
Manufacturing Test: Align Printer
appears. Touch
to return to the
Manufacturing Test menu, or touch
to return to the home screen.
Clean Nozzles
This option prints the standard Clean Nozzle Page.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to
Clean Nozzles
.
2.
Follow the instructions that appear on the display.
3.
Touch
to cancel this procedure, and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
