Printhead stall service check

Check the J1, J2, and J3 cables on the printhead carrier
card for proper connection and damage. Reseat the cables.
Are the cables properly connected and free from
damage?
Go to step 7.
Do any of the
following:
• If the cables
are
damaged,
then
replace the
printhead
carrier
assembly
cables. See
“Cable
parts
packet” on
page 7-8
• If the
connectors
are
damaged,
then go to
step 7.

Check for any obstruction on the carrier path.
Manually move the carrier assembly left to right to
check if it can move easily.
Is the carrier path free from obstruction and the
carrier assembly free from any damage?
Go to step 3.

Check if the carrier belt is not dislodged from its
gears, and can move together with the carrier
assembly.
Is the carrier belt free from any damage?
Go to step 4.
