Connect the machine to the tractor without universal shaft.
Move the machine to the narrowest position (driving around curves).
Shut down and safeguard the machine,
.
Attach the universal shaft halves on tractor and machine side.
Determining overlap (X)
Determine the dimension X.
Transfer the determined dimension X+2cm to the guard tubes and section tubes of the
universal shaft halves.
NOTICE
The transmitted dimension X+2cm must not pass the grease leak boreholes (4) of the inner
section tube, because then the end piece of the lubrication system would be destroyed when
shortening.
Increase the dimension X+2cm by 2 cm if the dimension X+2cm passes the grease leak
borehole (4).
Shorten guard tubes and section tubes, deburr from outside and inside and remove the
chips.
If the inner lubrication lines are cut when shortening the inner section tube (1), remove the
lubrication lines, adjust them and drill a new access borehole,
To ensure that the Teflon coating is complete, fuse the Teflon coating at the end of the
section tubes by using a lighter.
