NOTICE
Damage to the machine due to moving the sensing rake
In order to avoid damage to the machine, never modify the position of the sensing rake (11).
INFORMATION
Just move the sensing rake (11) if the triggering sensitivity cannot be set via spring, refer to
page 338 .

ü The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page 27 .
If the bale shape is still not satisfactory after the triggering sensitivity has been extended to the
maximum, install the sensing rake (11) in the next higher position.
If the overload protection still responds too frequently after the triggering sensitivity has been
reduced to the maximum, install the sensing rake (11) in the next lower position.
Moving the sensing rake
„ Loosen the hexagon head screw (17).
„
Move the sensing rake (11) into the desired position.
„
Tighten the hexagon head screw (17).
After moving the sensing rake, check or if necessary adjust the following settings:

Check zero position, refer to page 335 .
„ Check the triggering sensitivity and adjust it, if necessary, refer to page 338 .
„
Check the stop for the sensing rake and adjust it, if necessary, refer to page 338 .
„
Check the absorbing unit and adjust it, if necessary, refer to page 341 .
