DS0 VF Test Commands

Description of VF test commands

CT-650 Command-Line Reference Guide

Loopback <

– The parameters

low_freq

upper_freq

low_output_level

and

high_output_level

are required only if

digit_string

(user defined).

– Compatible VF equipment loop up when the tone is initially

detected and loop down when the tone is detected a second time.

– After executing a loop up or loop down,

the test to re-

initialize the measure test.

– To perform a loopback test, loopback the circuit first with the

command, then configure the test signal with the

VF_Measure

command. To release the test, loopdown the circuit,

then disconnect the test.

– The choice of tones with the

DTMF_Loopback

parameters depends on the type of equipment at the other end of
the circuit and the type of events you wish to have it generate.

Starts a new test and allocates a new RTU to monitor a DS0 signal.
