CT-650 Command-Line Reference Guide

Release 9.4

split_mode

Type of split. The available values depend on the DCS configura-
tion and circuit under test. Possible values are as follows:

–

A_Split

 Selects the A line of the selected digroup for an A 

split.

–

B_Split

 Selects the B line of the selected digroup for a B split. 

–

E_Split

 Selects the Equipment side of the selected digroup 

for an E split. 

–

F_Split

 Selects the Facility side of the selected digroup for an 

F split.

–

AB_Split

 Selects the A and B lines of the selected dual-FAD 

digroup for an AB split. 

–

EF_Split

 Selects the Equipment and Facility sides of the 

selected dual-FAD digroup for an EF split.

For VF testing, the following split modes are available:

–

Transparent

 Loops the received signal from the RTU receiver 

to the RTU transmitter.

–

Echo_Disable [<signaling_bits_selected> | 

<signaling_bits_connected>]

 Transmits tone to disable 

echo cancellers on both selected and connected channels. The 
superframe or ESF signaling bits for the selected channel can 
be overridden if the Signaling Option is installed.

–

Idle_Code [<signaling_bits_selected> | 

<signaling_bits_connected>]

 Transmits an idle code 

from the RTU. The superframe or ESF signaling bits for the 
selected channel can be overridden if the Signaling Option is 
installed. This is the recommended split mode for dial out opera-
tions.

system_name

The TAU or RTU to be tested.

tad_number

The number of the test access device or port to be tested.

tap, tap_number

The test access port on the DCS.

target_file

The name of a file to back up or restore.

test_duration

For continuous testing and test result accumulation, use
