Specifying digroup numbers

CT-650 Command-Line Reference Guide

Specifying digroup numbers

The format for digroup numbers depends on the DCS and type of test
you are performing.

Table 9

lists some examples. For a detailed listing

of digroup number formats, see your DCS documentation.

up/down

The direction of the loop:

down

For VF loopbacks,

refers to the loop-up tone, and

down

refers to

the loop-down tone.

For other loopbacks,

refers to the loop-up code, and

down

refers

to the loop-down code.

upper_freq

Sets the upper measurement frequency from 20 to 3904 Hz in 1 Hz
steps. Frequency must be above

low_freq

. Default is 3200 Hz.

user_name

The ID of a user’s session on the CT-650. You can list user IDs by
using the

Who

command.

vf_test_type

One of the tests available for measuring VF signals. For a detailed
listing of the syntax for each type of test, see

Table 4 on page 71

x_bits

Transmits one of the following X-bit patterns:

–

Simulates a valid C-bit framing.

–

Simulates an invalid C-bit framing.

–

Emulate

Causes the RTU to automatically transmit the X-bits

according to the received signal frame status. If the received C-
bit framing is lost, 00 (Yellow Alarm) is transmitted. If the
received C-bit framing is valid, 11 (no Yellow Alarm) is transmit-
ted. In the M13 Framing mode,

Emulate

causes the RTU to

transmit 11 only.
