DS0 VF Test Commands

Description of VF test commands

CT-650 Command-Line Reference Guide

Release 9.4

Remarks

– This command is available only after executing a

DI_Monitor

command.

– This command establishes an AB split across the DS1 signal with

the selected DS0 channel configured in an EF split.

– The parameters

signaling_bits_selected

and

signaling_bits_connected

are available for split modes

other than transparent.

VF_Measure

Executes an intrusive test on the chosen side of the circuit being
tested.

Remarks

– For a list of available vf_test_types, see

Table 4 on page 71

– To perform an end-to-end test, execute the

VF_Measure

command to transmit a test signal from the unit and transmit the
same test signal from the far end.

VF_Split

Establishes an intrusive connection between the monitored digroup
and DS0 channel and a DTU RTU. After executing the command, the
unit sends the correct split command to the DCS.
