The following fields appear in the Line Status category of the DS1 test 
results screens.

% Severely 

Errored Sec

Ratio, expressed as a percentage, of severely errored 
seconds (an error rate greater than 10-3 was present 
in each second) to the number of available seconds.

% Degraded 

Minutes

Ratio, expressed as a percentage, of minutes the 
channel was degraded to the number of available min-
utes.

% Avail-

able Sec

Ratio, expressed as a percentage, of seconds the 
channel was available to the total elapsed seconds 
since pattern synchronization.
