Operation via Management Software

Possibility 2 

To perform a restart of an extender module, proceed as follows: 
1.  Select 

Extender & Devices > EXT Units 

in the task area. 

2.  Click 

Activate Edit Mode

 in the toolbar. 

3.  Select the EXT Unit in the EXT Units list whose extender module has to be restarted. 
4.  Click 

Restart

 

Extender

 in the lower part of the working area. 

A query for the restart appears. 

5.  Click 

Yes

 to restart the extender module. 

The EXT Unit will disappear from the list for a short time. When the EXT Unit is visible again, the restart 
of the extender module was successful. 

6.  Click 

Deactivate Edit Mode

 in the toolbar.
