Configuring Members in the HA Backup Group and Active/Standby Relationship
for the Single CGN Device
This section describes how to configure members in the HA backup group and active/standby
relationship for the single CGN device in the service-location view. The ratio between active
and standby service boards is 1:1.
Context
Only after members in an HA backup group and the active/standby relationship are configured,
service features of HA backup between service boards on a single CGN device can be configured.
Procedure
Step 1

The system view is displayed.

The service-location view of the HA backup group is displayed.

The active and standby service boards with the specified slots and CPUs are configured.
NOTE
In the scenario of HA backup between service boards on a single CGN device, the backup function cannot
be configured on different CPUs of the same service board. Therefore, IDs of the active and standby slots
where CPUs locate must be different.

This section describes how to set the backup delay in the system view.
Context
To ensure service processing and forwarding performance when the system is busy, set the delay
in backing up data between CPUs on the active and standby service boards.
