Status Conditions and Sense Code Information
0C 00 If the accompanying sense key = 4, error is interrupted as
follows:
Unrecovered Write Error
Data could not be written to media due to an unrecoverable
RAM, battery or drive error.
If the accompanying sense key = 6, error is interrupted as
follows:
Caching Disabled
Data caching has been disabled due to loss of mirroring capa-
bility or low battery capacity.
0C 01 Write Error Recovered with Auto Reallocation
The controller recovered a write operation to a drive and no fur-
ther action is required by the host. Auto reallocation may not
have been used, but this is the only standard ASC/ ASCQ that
tells the initiator that no further actions are required by the
driver.
0C 80 Unrecovered Write Error Due to Non-Volatile Cache Failure
The subsystem Non-Volatile cache memory recovery mecha-
nisms failed after a power cycle or reset. This is possibly due to
some combination of battery failure, alternate controller failure
or foreign controller.
User data may have been lost.
0C 81 Deferred Unrecoverable Error Due to Memory Failure
Recovery from a Data Cache error was unsuccessful.
User data may have been lost.
