CYLINDER HEAD/VALVES
Remove the 6 mm bolts [1].
Remove the cylinder head special bolts [1].
Loosen the cylinder head special bolts in a crisscross
pattern in 2 or 3 steps.
Remove the cylinder head [2].
• Attach a piece of wire to the cam chain to prevent it
from falling into the crankcase.
• Do not strike the cylinder too hard and do not
damage the mating surface with a screwdriver.
Remove the gasket [1], dowel pins [2] and cam chain
guide [3].
Remove the partition plate [1].
Check the partition plate for deterioration or damage.
