4. Clean and lubricate the siderails. See “Scale Calibration” on page 6-3. See
“Lubrication Requirements” on page 6-7.
5. If the siderails are frozen:
a. Raise the siderail to the up position, or remove it from the bed
completely.
b. Apply grease to the grease ports (K) (see figure 4-48 on page 4-103).

c. Re-attach the siderail, if it was removed.
6. To ensure proper operation of the Advanta™ Bed, perform the “Function
Checks” on page 2-6.
