Cleaning and Disinfecting the SpO

Sensor

Do not soak the sensor in water or antiseptic solution.



Wipe the DURASENSOR with a disinfectant such as 70% alcohol. Do not

disinfect by applying radioactive rays, steam, or ethylene oxide.



The OXISENSOR is a sterilized sensor than can be repeatedly used on the

same patient until the adhesive properties of the adhesive are lost. Do not use
on more than one patient. Do not resterilize.

Cleaning/Disinfecting/Sterilizing the Temperature Probe

Clean/disinfect/sterilize the temperature probe according to the manufacturer’s
guidelines.
