To Acquire ECG Waveform
This section describes the procedure to attach the electrode to the patient, to
connect the lead cable to the main unit, to set the ECG signal filter, and about the
electrode types.
CAUTION

This equipment does not have an arrhythmia analysis
function.
 For a patient with arrhythmia, the heart rate may not be
counted accurately.
Before Attaching the Electrodes (Disposable Electrodes)
CAUTION
 If different types of electrodes are used at the same time, the
difference between the polarization potential from each
electrode may interfere monitoring. Make sure to use
electrodes of the same type.
 When an electrode is attached to the same location for a long
period, some patients may develop skin irritation. Check the
patient's skin condition periodically and change the electrode
site as required.
 Do not reuse/re-sterilize the disposable electrodes.
 ECG measurement part is Type CF applied part, but it is not
intended to directly apply on patient's heart.
1. If necessary, shave the electrode sites to remove excessive hair.
2. Clean the electrode sites with an alcohol swab or other skin preparation.
3. Peel off the backing of electrode, and attach to the patient.
Pay attention not to touch the
electrode jelly.
