Automatic Disconnect
The Inactivity Timer parameters specify the amount of time a modem link can be
inactive before the remote ISX 5312/5314 automatically disconnects the call. To set the
Inactivity Timer parameters, follow these steps starting from the T7 Modem Connect
Configuration submenu:

2. Press the button beneath
MdTmr
. This parameter allows you to specify the
number of seconds, from 0 through 120, the ISX 5312/5314 waits when it places
a call to the far-end modem for a response before it automatically disconnects
the call. This time is in addition to a 10-second default time. Dialing time is
included in the amount of time you select.

3. The screen displays a 3-digit field in the top line with a cursor under the leftmost
digit. To increase the digit, press the 1 button; to decrease it, press the 2 button.
To copy a character into the next space, press the 3 button. Press the < and >
buttons to move from space to space.
