Entering IP Addresses
For the SNMP management feature to operate, the ISX 5312/5314 must be assigned an
IP address, a Gateway address, and a Subnet Mask. The ISX 5312/5314 also allows you
to direct traps to one SNMP manager and view the port numbers used by this manager’s
UDP service source port and destination port.
Note:
The IP address and Gateway address parameters should not be changed from a
remote unit. Changing these parameters results in terminating the remote session.
Entering the Unit’s Local IP Address
To enter the IP address, follow these steps, starting from the Top Level menu:
