The submenus are:
•
DSU
- provides the current operating status of the basic ISX 5312/5314.
•
Ports
- provides the current operating status for the individual ports DTE 1 and
DTE 2 (ISX 5312) or DTE 1, DTE 2, DTE 3, and DTE 4 (ISX 5314). The
parameters are identical for each DTE submenu.

DS1a, DS1b
- provide the current operating status for T-1 lines A and B. They
also provide error statistics from separate 24-hour local, Telco, and network
registers. The parameters are identical for both line submenus. If your unit is
equipped with one T-1 line interface, the
DS1b
submenu does not appear on the
screen.
•
Alarm
- allows you to view stored alarms. You can view alarms separately for the
ISX 5312/5314 and each T-1 line. If an alarm is currently active, it is denoted
with an asterisk (
*
) and you can view the time it occurred. If an alarm is not
currently active, you can view the time it was cleared. You can also view a log of
both ISX 5312/5314 and T-1 line alarms. The log allows you to view the date and
time each alarm occurred and the date and time each alarm was cleared. This
submenu allows you to clear stored alarms independently for the ISX 5312/5314,
each T-1 line, and the log.

Diag
- provides the diagnostic test status of each DTE and each T-1 line.
