The submenus are:
•
DSU
- provides the basic ISX 5312/5314 parameters.
•
Ports
- provides the configuration parameters and specifies the DS0 channel
assignments for the individual ports DTE 1 and DTE 2 (ISX 5312) or DTE 1,
DTE 2, DTE 3, and DTE 4 (ISX 5314). The parameters are identical for each DTE
submenu.
•
DS1a, DS1b
- provide the configuration parameters for T-1 lines A and B. The
parameters are identical for both line submenus. If your unit is equipped with one
T-1 line interface, the
DS1b submenu does not appear on the screen. This menu
also allows you to assign DS0 channels from the line A interface to the line B
interface and vice versa.
•
Alarm
- allows you to enable or disable each alarm and allows you to reset alarms
independently for the ISX 5312/5314 and each T-1 line. For each line alarm, it
also allows you to specify the amount of time that an alarm condition is active
before it is reported by the ISX 5312/5314 and the amount of time that a Red
alarm condition is no longer active before the ISX 5312/5314 reports it cleared.
•
Fctry
(Factory) - allows you to replace the current parameter configuration with
the factory default settings.
•
Ustrp
(User strap) - allows you to view the user parameter configuration. It also
allows you to update the user configuration with the current configuration or
download to the user configuration.
•
Reset
- allows you to initiate a soft unit reboot.
