 - indicates the daisy-chain configuration.  (

DsyCh

 appears on the

screen only for units equipped with two T-1 line interfaces.)  Possible
displays are

 (daisy chain disabled), 

Mst

 (daisy chain as master), and 

Slv

(daisy chain as slave).  In a daisy-chain configuration if a Red alarm or
LOS alarm is declared by the master T-1 line, it is sent to the slave(s) as a
Blue alarm.

ESF

 - indicates the framing format is ESF as defined in AT&T 54016 and

ANSI T1.403.  The other possible display is 

D4

AMI

 - indicates the method of line data encoding is Alternate Mark

Inversion.  The other possible displays are 

AMIZS

 (Alternate Mark

Inversion with Zero Suppression), 

AMIB7

 (Alternate Mark Inversion with

Bit 7 Stuffing), and

 (Bipolar with Eight Zero Substitution).
