Prerequisite:
Stop the unit operation via the user interface.
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.

Disconnect the backup heater thermal protector wires from the wire terminal
X7M: 5‑6.

Guide the wires through the grommet in the switch box.

Cut all tie straps that fix the backup heater protector harness.

Loosen and remove the 2 screws.
