e. Using feeler gauge, determ ine distance between
gauge pin on J-25023-2 and top edge of housing (Fig. 7A-
78A). See Selective Spacer chart (Fig. 7A-79A) to determine
proper selective spacer.

N O TE: The low and reverse clutch selective spacer
identification num ber is also the last num ber of the part
number. It may be necessary to measure the thickness
of the selective spacer for positive identification.
f. Remove J-25023.
g. Install proper low and reverse clutch selective spacer
in the case (Fig. 7A-80A).
1. Oil and install the lo and reverse clutch plates into
the case, starting with a flat steel and alternating
