plunger is completely withdrawn).

Note:

During the saline loading process a vacuum may be created within the syringe. It is acceptable to

momentarily release the Withdraw button to allow the incoming saline to equalize.

Warning! Do not introduce the

™ Catheter into the patient until all air has been purged from the

infusion line and the

™ Catheter. A steady stream of saline exiting from the tip of the

ROSSER

Catheter will be observed once all air has been purged.

Purge the air from the system by momentarily pressing the Advance button multiple times each for 3-5

Injector will not be functional unless the Turret is fully rotated into either the Set Up or Run

Mode.

™ Generator.

2. The

LOW

ATE

Injector is now armed and may be operated by depressing the Foot Switch or the Advance

button (the Withdraw button is disabled during Run Mode).

To activate the

ROSSER

™ Recanalization System depress the Foot Switch. The

LOW

ATE

Injector will

infuse saline for a period of 3 seconds while emiting 3 audible tone bursts at 1 second intervals, and then the

ROSSER

™ Generator will be activated. The

LOW

ATE

Injector will continue to infuse saline as long as the

Foot Switch is depressed or until the saline reservoir in the syringe is depleted. Whenever the Injector motor
is actively infusing the

%OXH

light will be steady on.

Note:

The

ROSSER

™ Generator will continue to deliver energy while the Foot Switch is depressed for a

maximum of 30 seconds following which the audible tone from the

ROSSER

™ Generator will cease. Refer to the

ROSSER

™ Generator Manual of Operations for more detail.

Note:

The Advance button will operate the

LOW

ATE

Injector in Run Mode (and emit 3 audible tone bursts

at 1 second intervals), but will not activate the

ROSSER

™ Generator. The

ROSSER

™ Generator can only be

activated by the Foot Switch.

Note:

Shutdown Procedure

1. Refer

ROSSER

™ Catheter IFU for catheter removal from patient.

Disconnect saline connection to

ROSSER

™ Catheter.

3. Place

LOW

ATE

Injector into Set Up mode.

Withdraw the plunger by pressing and holding the Withdraw button. Keep pressing until the plunger is
withdrawn all the way (the plunger will stop once the plunger is completely withdrawn).

Cleaning
Warning! Only use a mild detergent solution to disinfect the unit.

Caution! Always disconnect the power cord before cleaning.

Clean the Foot Switch with a cloth that has been dampened in the solution.
