exit
Overview
This command exits the current mode, and returns the prompt to the mode at the
previous level. When used in User Exec mode, the
exit
command terminates the
session.
Syntax
exit
Mode
All command modes, including Global Configuration and Interface Configuration
modes.
Example
The following example shows the use of
exit
command to exit Interface mode,
and return to Configure mode.
awplus#
configure terminal
awplus(config)#
interface vlan2
awplus(config-if)#
exit
awplus(config)#
