Test Parameters
The following parameters are available to set the source output.
PulseWidth Pulse width of PGU output pulse. 10 ns to 1
μ
s, 4 digits or 1 ns
resolution. See “Parameters” on page 5-31.
Vg Voltage applied to the gate terminal. PGU output.

4.5 V to
4.5 V, 4 digits or 10 mV resolution.
PulseBase PGU output baseline voltage.

mV resolution. See “Parameters” on page 5-31. Pulse amplitude
must be > 55 mV and < 4.5 V. To use the gate voltage
automatic adjustment function, set the pulse amplitude to < 4.0
V.
Vd Voltage applied to the drain terminal. SMU output.

Extended Test
Parameters The following parameters are available to set the test condition. For more details,
see “Parameters” on page 5-31.
TransTime Pulse leading/trailing edge transition time, in s. 2 ns to 500 ns, 3
digits or 1 ns resolution.
MeasTime Measurement timing at the pulse top. 0 to 1, 3 digits or 0.01
resolution.
SmplNum Oscilloscope sampling number. 16 to 262144, 6 digits or 1 step.
SmthNum Oscilloscope smoothing number. 3 to 4001, 4 digits or 1 step.
SmthStat Status of the oscilloscope smoothing. Enable or Disable.
AvgNum Oscilloscope averaging number. 1 to 4095, 4 digits or 1 step.
VdAdjust Status of the drain voltage automatic adjustment. Enable or
Disable.
VgAdjust Status of the gate voltage automatic adjustment. Enable or
Disable.
ConnectChk Status of the connection check at initialization. Enable or
Disable.
GateZero Status of the gate monitor channel zero measurement at
initialization. Enable or Disable.
RangingMode Measurement ranging mode. Auto or Fixed.
DcSwitch Availability of the pulse/dc switch units. Yes (exists, pulsed IV
measurement connection will be made) or No (none).
