Performing System Setup and Compensation

Starting System Setup

Starting System Setup

Perform the following procedure if you are using the B1500A as the DC source 
monitor.

1. Prepare the following accessories additionally to the system accessories and the 

system components.

•

Triaxial cable, 2 ea., required if B1542A-024 is not equipped

•

BNC cable, 1 ea.

•

BNC(m)-Triax(f) adapter, floating guard, 1 ea.

•

BNC(m)-(f)-(f) adapter, 1 ea.

•

GNDU-chassis adapter, 1 ea.

2. If the Start EasyEXPERT window is opened on the system controller, close it 

first. The system controller is the B1500A for the EasyEXPERT users, or an 
external computer for the Desktop EasyEXPERT users.

3. Launch Agilent Connection Expert (see Figure 3-1).
