Performing System Setup and Compensation

Compensation

4. Obtain the oscilloscope DC monitor compensation factors as shown below.

a. Confirm the setup. Or connect the cables as shown in the connection 

diagram window. Then leave the oscilloscope input channels open. The 
triaxial cables are connected later.

b. Click OK on the connection diagram window to continue the setup. This 

opens another connection diagram window.

Click Cancel to cancel the setup.

c. Connect the triaxial cables to the oscilloscope input channel used for the gate 

monitor. Then use two BNC(m)-Triax(f) adapters and a BNC(m)-(f)-(f) 
adapter.

d. Click OK on the connection diagram window to continue the setup. This 

opens a message box to confirm the execution of measurement.

Click Cancel to cancel the setup.

e. Click OK on the message box to continue the setup. This starts the 

compensation data measurement and opens a dialog box to show the 
measurement status. And after the measurement, another connection 
diagram window is displayed.

Click Cancel to cancel the setup.

f.

Disconnect the triaxial cables from the oscilloscope input channel, and 
connect them to the oscilloscope input channel used for the drain monitor.

g. Click OK on the connection diagram window to continue the setup. This 

opens a message box to confirm the execution of measurement.

Click Cancel to cancel the setup.

h. Click OK on the message box to continue the setup. This starts the 

compensation data measurement and opens a dialog box to show the 
measurement status. After the measurement, the connection diagram 
window is displayed. See Figure 3-5.

Click Cancel to cancel the setup.
