MedWeld 4000 Operator’s Guide

M-032116 Programs #T03300, #T02300 and #T02400

•

System cooling is provided: The SCR OVER TEMP input is
closed

STEPPERS ARE RESET Output

SRST

This input resets all the steppers to Step 1 and the weld count to 0.

STEPPERS ARE RESET GROUP 1 Output

SRG1

STEPPERS ARE RESET GROUP 2 Output

SRG2

Either input will reset all the steppers in Group 1 or 2 to Step 1 and
the weld count to 0.

END OF STEPPER Output

EOS

This output is active when the stepper completes the final weld in
Step #5 of the profile. The program now issues the END OF
STEPPER fault. Electrode maintenance is required.

END OF STEPPER GROUP 1 Output

ESG1

END OF STEPPER GROUP 2 Output

ESG2

Either output is active when the stepper completes the final weld in
Step #5 of the stepper profile for Group 1 or 2. The program now
issues the END OF STEPPER fault. Electrode maintenance is
required.

STEPPER APPROACHING MAX Output

SALT

This output is turned ON when any assigned active stepper assigned
to one of these groups has entered Step 5.

STEPPER APPROACHING MAX GROUP 1 Output SAG1
STEPPER APPROACHING MAX GROUP 2 Output SAG2

Either output is turned ON when any assigned active stepper
assigned to one of these groups has entered Step 5.

PRESSURE SELECT 1 Output

These outputs are activated or de-activated when the MedWeld
