On the LCD panel of the MedWeld 4000 or DEP-100S, the FieldBus

Setting the Word Size
On the DEP-100S, you can specify the word size for I/O in either
FieldBus or DeviceNet communications. Do this under the
Program
menu and
I/O Mapping
option.
Set the word size for one of these choices:
• 0 disables communications.
• 1 sets the word size to 16 inputs or 16 outputs, to supply one
discrete I/O board.
• 2 sets the word size to 32 inputs or 32 outputs, to supply two
discrete I/O boards.
