Pressure
Switch Error

The PRESSURE
SWITCH input was
not active when
required by the
control, or it was
removed while the
control was executing
a schedule.
Faulty robot or ladder logic.
Check ladder logic to verify that
the input is being activated.
Loose or incorrect wiring to
the input module.
Check for proper I/O designa-
tions. Check to make sure all
wiring connections are secure
Faulty input module.
Replace input module.
Retract Pilot
Error
(See p. 5-8)
The retract cylinder
was not out of retract
when checked by the
control.
Operator error.
The input was not activated
when required by the operator.
Either the Retract Mode or
the Cylinder Type setup
parameters were changed,
and the control must be reset.
Cycle power to the control to
reset it.
(
The control ignores
changes to these settings until
power is cycled.)
Loose or incorrect wiring to
the input module.
Check for proper I/O designa-
tions. Check to make sure all
wiring connections are secure.
Faulty input module.
Replace input module.
Faulty weld processor card.
Replace weld processor.
Weld Current

Back-feeding EMF is
causing a voltage
drop across the
transformer, but no
measurable current is
flowing in the primary.
In a multi-gun configuration,
guns from two different trans-
formers or controls are touch-
ing or conducting through the
work piece.
Check for touching weld guns.
Remedy as necessary.
Improper grounding of the
welding tool.
Insure proper grounding of the
transformer, fixture and control.
Isolation
Contactor
Not Enabled

Isolation contactor
was de-activated
(opened) while the
control was executing
a weld schedule.
Faulty robot or ladder logic.
Check robot or ladder to verify
that the input is being activated
and held HIGH throughout the
schedule.
Loose or incorrect wiring to
the input module.
Check for proper I/O designa-
tions. Check to make sure all
wiring connections are secure.
Faulty input module.
Replace module.
