1. INTRODUCTION / INTRODUZIONE
This chapter describes the necessary
procedures for the covers removal and the
replacement of electronic boards and other
generator parts.
When a connector is detached from its own
board, make sure that it is properly identified,
otherwise, put a temporary label with the
description of the board and connector (for
example “B2-CM15”).
When a mechanical or electrical component
has been replaced, perform the working tests
of the unit as described in the chapter
“Acceptance & Installation – 2”.
ARCOVIS 3000 S/R satisfies the electrical
safety standards and the EMC standards and,
in normal conditions, there is no risk of
malfunction caused by electromagnetic
interferences. For this reason, when a board is
replaced or you work inside the unit, at the end
of the intervention, it is necessary to restore all
the electrical safety devices (ground
connections, cables shields, inductances,...)
that were removed.
Questo capitolo descrive le procedure
necessarie per la rimozione dei carter di
copertura, la sostituzione delle schede
elettroniche e altre parti del generatore.
Quando un connettore viene staccato dalla
propria scheda, assicurarsi che sia
correttamente identificato e, in caso contrario,
apporre un’etichetta temporanea con la
descrizione della scheda e del connettore
stesso (es. “B2-CM15”).
Quando un componente meccanico o elettrico
è stato sostituito, eseguire prove di
funzionamento dell’unità come descritto nel
capitolo “Accettazione & Installazione – 2”.
ARCOVIS 3000 S/R soddisfa gli standard di
sicurezza elettrica e gli standard EMC e, in
condizioni normali, non c’è rischio di
malfunzionamento causato da interferenze
elettromagnetiche. Per questo motivo, quando
si sostituisce una scheda o si lavora all’interno
dell’unità, alla fine dell’intervento, è necessario
ripristinare tutti quegli accorgimenti di
sicurezza elettrica eventualmente rimossi
(collegamenti di terra, schermi dei cavi,
induttanze, …).
During the normal use or during the service
interventions, it can occur that the painted
parts damage. In order to touch up small parts,
a paint kit for touch-up is delivered with the
unit. It consists of three paint pots and three
brushes.
USE ONLY ORIGINAL PAINTS INCLUDED
INTO THE KIT OF PAINTS FOR TOUCH UP.
In case the paint kit for touch-up is available
even as spare part (see Parts List).
Durante il normale utilizzo o durante gli
interventi di assistenza, può succedere che le
parti verniciate si rovinino. Per ritoccare piccole
parti, insieme all’unità viene consegnato un kit
vernice per ritocchi, composta da tre barattoli
di vernice e tre pennelli.

COMPRESE NEL KIT VERNICI PER
RITOCCO.
In caso, il kit vernici per ritocco è disponibile
anche come parte di ricambio (ved. Parts List).
At the end of every technical intervention, fill in
the “SERVICE INTERVENTION” label with
date, name, signature and intervention
number/code. You can find it with the unit use
documentation.

OBSERVE PRECAUTIONS FOR HANDLING
ELECTROSTATIC SENSITIVE DEVICES
WARNING: ESD can damage disk drives, cards, memory modules and other parts.
We recommend that you do all procedures in this guide only at an ESD workstation.
If one is not available, provide some ESD protection by wearing an antistatic wrist
strap attached to any unpainted metal surface when handling parts. If you don't have
one, discharge static electricity from yourself and your clothing by touching a nearby
metal surface before handling any internal components.
