6.7.4. GSC / MSC Download software 

This session allows to update the software of 
the board GSC and the board MSC. The 
software loading procedure is the same. The 
board and the connector where the external 
PC is connected change. 

GSC Software:

 Disassemble the rear unit 

cover (Chapt. Replacements §2.2.1).  

Rotate clockwise or counterclockwise the lock 
plate of the boards support on the unit right 
side.  Lower the support till the mechanical 
lock. 

Questa sessione permette di aggiornare il 
software della scheda GSC e della scheda 
MSC. La procedura di caricamento del 
software è la stessa. Cambiano la scheda e il 
connettore a cui collegare il pc esterno. 

GSC Software:

 Smontare il carter posteriore 

dell’unità (Cap. Sostituzioni §2.2.1).  

Ruotare in senso orario o antiorario il piattino 
di fermo del supporto schede sul lato destro 
dell’unità. Abbassare il supporto fino al fermo 
meccanico. 

 

The B5-GSC board shows communication with 
the external PC or RS232 serial line, or with 
USB serial line. 

 

 

 

La scheda B5-GSC si presenta con 

 

comunicazione con il PC esterno o con linea 
seriale RS232, o con  linea seriale USB. 

 

 

GSC Board – RS232 version

 

 

Connect the Pc through the serial cable to the 
CM18 connector of the B5 board (GSC Board - 
RS232 version). 

The connection cable (D-SUB 9poles

9poles) is available as spare part.
