4.5.1. Iris calibration/ Taratura dell’iride
(for fixed anode version with HRC 1000 memory/ per versione anodo fisso con memoria HRC 1000)
with Board B5 cod.01791/X:
Place a digital multimeter between OFC01-
Tp3 (+) and OFC01-Tp4 (GND).
On the board IO-07 of the memory, set the
commutator SW6 on the letter D (display of
Vu-Meter).
Control manual fluoroscopy by keeping the
data found for the correct dose, check that
on the board OFC01 the led Ld1 (yellow) is
OFF.
Adjust the potentiometer P2 of the board
OFC01 to center the reference index on the
central bar of the Vu-Meter (Fig. 24).
Place a digital multimeter between B11-Tp2
(+) and B11-Tp6 (GND).
Control the manual fluoroscopy by keeping
the data found for the correct dose and
check that the voltage read on the multimeter
is of 800mV (-0V +50mV).
Place a digital multimeter between B5-Tp21
(+) and B5-Tp4 (GND).
Control manual fluoroscopy by keeping the
data found for the correct dose and check
that the voltage read on the multimeter is of
3V (-0V +0,2V).
After performing the two adjustments
described above, control manual fluoroscopy
and note down the voltage present between
OFC01-Tp3 (+) and OFC01-Tp4 (GND)
(“
point A”, about –5,94V)
.
Select automatic fluoroscopy with standard mA
curve.
Place a digital multimeter between B11-Tp2 (+)
and B11-Tp6 (GND).
Control automatic fluoroscopy and read the
voltage present on the multimeter.
If this voltage is not equal to 800mV (-0 +
50mV), enter Setup (code 5798) and adjust the
parameter “ABC Reference” till the correct
value of 800mV is obtained.
Check, in different conditions, that the
automatic kV system balances correctly
(typically 62kV – 2,75mA).
Without modifying the radiological data, select
manual fluoroscopy and control Snapshot.
Check that on the board OFC01 the led Ld1
(yellow) lights up, adjust the potentiometer P1
of the board OFC01 to center the reference
index on the central bar of the Vu-Meter (Fig.
24).

(+) e B11-Tp6 (GND).
Comandare scopia manuale mantenendo i dati
rilevati per la corretta dose, e verificare che la
tensione letta sul multimetro sia di 800mV (-0V
+50mV).
Posizionare un multimetro digitale tra B5-Tp21
(+) e B5-Tp4 (GND).
Comandare scopia manuale mantenendo i dati
rilevati per la corretta dose, e verificare che la
tensione letta sul multimetro sia di 3V (-0V
+0,2V).
Eseguite le due regolazioni sopra descritte,
comandare scopia manuale e prendere nota
della tensione presente tra OFC01-Tp3 (+) e
OFC01-Tp4 (GND)
(“
punto A”, circa –5,94V)
.
Selezionare scopia automatica con curva mA
standard.
Posizionare un multimetro digitale tra B11-Tp2
(+) e B11-Tp6 (GND).
Comandare scopia automatica e leggere la
tensione presente sul multimetro.
Se questa tensione non è pari a 800mV (-0 +
50mV), entrare in Setup (codice 5798) e
regolare il parametro “ABC Reference” fino ad
ottenere il valore corretto di 800mV.
Verificare, in diverse condizioni, che il sistema
di kV automatici bilanci correttamente
(tipicamente 62kV – 2,75mA).
Senza modificare i dati radiologici, selezionare
scopia manuale e comandare Snapshot.
Verificare che sulla scheda OFC01 il led Ld1
(giallo) si accenda, regolare il potenziometro P1
della scheda OFC01 per centrare l’indice di
riferimento sulla barra centrale del Vu-Meter
(Fig. 24).
